Raizel was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, where she attended Beth Rivkah schools. She taught Kindergarden in Beth Rivkah for over 15 years, before marrying and moving on Shlichus to Saratoga Springs in 2012. She has authored Yiddish study workbooks for the primary grades and is fluent in the language.
